Ammi Boyz - 'Riverside Apt'
Ammi Boyz. Solidified rap group from Lewisham. This one's produced by wtfomari! and Cleto Marez. If you know about UK underground, you know about wtfomari! (Omari Lyesight). I remember following on Insta long long time ago, he was making like four five six plus beats a day, fam. You know how mad that is? Yeah, he deserves everything that comes with him in this new life.
But yeah, Ammi Boyz, 'Riverside Apt'. Nigz and P from Lee. Standard, standard chemistry between both of them. P from Lee, one of my favourite artists anyway. Ammi Boyz just throw me back to a time where life was a bit more simple, but I'm glad they're back. This track feels like it's probably going to be a part of a future project, I feel anyway. Big up them.

Skepta ft. Suggs and Chase & Status - 'Innocent Smile'
Yeah, crazy, man. I never thought I'd see Skepta and Suggs on a track. Obviously Suggs is from Madness, lead singer, so yeah, mad moment, mad collaboration. And then you've got Chase & Status on the production. Skepta knows what he's doing with this one still. He's got the game on lock. Purely a collaboration for the views, but you can't deny it works. The combination of Skepta, Suggs and Chase & Status is stoopid when you actually think about it.

Jamie T - 'Tallahassee'
Jamie T, man. This guy's been with me since childhood, so I'm probably always going to be a bit biased when it comes to his music. 'Tallahassee' is the second single from his upcoming album Ghosts (100 Days of Morning), which drops October 9th. It's actually the closing track on the album too.
I can't lie, though, this one feels a bit lethargic for Jamie T. However, he still gets on Tracks of the Week as I'm glad he's still able to create and put out this sort of stuff - I do hope he got what he needed to get off his chest creatively with this one, but from a listening point of view, yeah, this one didn't really hit me like that. Is that deep? There's some proper tongue-in-cheek lyrics in there and I can appreciate what he's doing with it but maybe I shoulda put 3310 instead (but that wasn’t being played this week…). Let me chill.
I wanted to do 'Tallahassee' as it might make more sense in the context of the whole project. Additionally, he even filmed the music video in Margate.
It'll be interesting to see how it all comes together when the album drops.
