Cupsize - ’17’
Cupsize man. Found these donny's off SoundCloud. Old school-way. I have been preferring SoundCloud recently anyway. This band gives me such UK vibes, sonically and instrumentation-wise. Real anthem tunes. It's a blend of grunge and indie that mixes both sides together effortlessly. It's like I have heard Cupsize for years, but realistically it's only been a few months. '17' epitomises what Cupsize are about: mesmerising, fun and angsty.

Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn - ‘Empty Space’
Those who know me, know Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn have been my staple duo for ten years now. These men have grown with me, through college, uni, to working days. I spent bare time in Brighton during uni days, so felt immersed in their surroundings, and ultra connected to this duo. 'Empty Space' is a single from their upcoming final album 'Goodbye for Now'. Yeah, that’s right, man said final.
For those who have been fans of FSHG since the beginning, this is playbook FSHG. It's impossible not to relate to Frankie and his type of writing style, very direct accompanied with his laid-back flow, giving the balance of being able to relax but in a state of working through problems that Frankie lists, consciously. 'Remember the days, now it's just empty space,' kinda apt for a duo that are about to disappear for a minute.
I mean, even writing this I have goosebumps as I can't believe this is the end, for now. You know when artists become a part of you, and you thought they would be there forever? Same.

Syst7m - ‘FUCKKKEIRSTARMER’
Shouts Jawnino for bringing Syst7m to my ears. Every beat he is on is bonkers. Although we ain't ever getting a track longer than two mins, Syst7m's flow got me feeling like I am in 2015, feeling mad original. Syst7m ain't tryna be no one else but himself, and it shows. 'FUCKKKEIRSTARMER' is a tongue-in-cheek track title. Syst7m talks the jugg and grind that many relate to, but his flow on these sorta beats also toughens up his delivery. He really ended this track on 'if you diss my team get shanked in the ribs.', while leaving the beat to play out, AYTE.
