Welcome to SOTR

Hello….. this is our first post… kinda a way of saying hello and sharing what we’re building. Nothing overthought. Nothing dressed up. Just a space to support good work and the people behind it.

SOTR started as a simple idea.
A space intentionally made for music and creativity to feel honest, local, and rooted in real experience.

Who We Are

SOTR is a South London based, music led creative platform.
It exists to give artists space to create, release, and grow without pressure to fit into a certain sound or image.

We’re not here to chase trends or numbers. We’re here for work that feels real and comes from a genuine place.

Why We Do It

A lot of creatives never get the attention they deserve, or even to the point of release. Not because it isn’t good, but because the ‘creating’ part is actually what makes them tick, so they have no need to shout the loudest.

So, SOTR is about slowing things down, and giving artists time, context, and a platform that values substance over hype, by helping the artists realise their potential and vision - allowing them to create with no pressure but with delivery in mind.

Not For Profit

SOTR runs as a not for profit platform. Any money that comes in goes straight back into supporting artists, projects, and events.

The focus isn’t growth for the sake of it. It’s about fairness, sustainability, and creating opportunities where they don’t always exist.

South London

South London shapes everything we do. The people, the culture, the mix of influences, and the way creativity shows up here.

What makes it special is the variety. Different backgrounds, different stories, different ways of seeing the world.

All feeding into the music and art that comes out of this side of the city.

SOTR is rooted here and always will be.

The Artists

There’s no single sound on SOTR.

We’re interested in artists who create for themselves, listen widely and aren’t afraid to explore.

If it feels considered and comes from a real place, it belongs here.

More Than Music

Music sits at the centre of SOTR, but it’s not the only focus.

We’re open to creatives of all kinds. From painters, jewellers, photographers, videographers, graphic designers, dancers… whatever it may be, there’s a place.

For SOTR, it’s all about how these worlds cross over, influence each other and how we can collaborate meaningfully.

What’s Next

Alongside releases, we’ll be putting on events, conversations, and collaborations.
