BIRDCRY is the single taken from Southsidefinn’s upcoming mixtape and offers a quieter moment within the wider project; ‘Never Be This Young Again’, releasing very soon.

The track is observational and reflective, giving space to sit with thoughts rather than forcing a narrative - it hits deep. Production is from Patchy’s (SOTR) archives, 2021 to be precise.

Shaped by lived experience and place, it hints at the tone and perspective running through the project as a whole.

‘Somedays I get up and I’m down…’ a way of putting something most people recognise. That honesty runs through the track, and in the wider mixtape… reflecting the ups and downs that sit behind the socials.
